Wife of Resident – Feb 2026

My husband was resident at St Joseph’s Nursing Home for end of life palliative care under the care of a local Hospice. Although his stay was short he was made to feel welcome and at home and treated with dignity and respect. All the staff were kind and supportive. The nurses were professional in their care, particularly in regulating pain control and in trying to relieve his anxiety.
My sons and I were able to visit at any time. At those times we were given cups of tea and refreshments. Thank you to all the staff for their wonderful care.
