Can residents decide when to get up and retire every day?
At St Joseph’s our main aim is to ensure that our residents feel like they are at home. They can decide when to get up each morning and when to go to bed just like they do when they are in their own home.

Are there any restrictions or regulations in terms of residents going out and returning?
No residents can come and go as they wish. We have staff on hand to accommodate access to the home at all hours.

How much involvement do residents have in decision making?
We like to involve our residents in the decision making. From their care plan to the daily activities residents can have as much involvement as they desire.

Is smoking permitted?
We have a designated smoking area in the garden area of the home. Smoking is not permitted inside of the home.

Are there a variety of room types?
Yes we have a choice of single, shared or en-suite rooms.

Can you decorate and furnish your room as you wish?
Absolutely, residents can bring their own furniture and decorate their room as they wish.

Is there a call system?
Yes all rooms have call systems.

Are there electrical sockets in the rooms?
Yes all rooms come equipped with electrical sockets.

Can the heating be controlled in your room?
Yes all radiators have thermostats which can be controlled.

Are there dining facilities?
The home has separate dining areas for residents to enjoy.

Are there toilet facilities within the communal space?
Yes there are toilets throughout the home.

Are there showers and baths available?
Yes both shower and bath facilities are available.
