Review from Relative of Resident – March 2018
Our mum came to St Joseph’s December 2017 and spent 3 weeks here during her final stages of life as a permanent resident.
The staff were absolutely incredible. I cannot commend them all enough. From nursing care right down to the kitchen staff and cleaners. Everyone so personable and caring.
Mums room was quiet and private, overlooking beautiful grounds and her care was second to none.
The staff were regular and Mum had early onset Alzheimer’s so continuity was important. Mum was so happy here.

Mum had final stages of cancer. The nursing care and palliative care she had was fantastic. She never felt any pain or discomfort.
We as her family were also looked after I feel. We were never rushed, always informed and I felt Mums care was very transparent which I liked, by this I mean that the care folder was always on hand for us to view and add to. There are kitchen facilities for us to use too (tea, coffee) as well as a fridge if we were to bring our own sandwiches/food during our visit.
