Daughter of Resident – Oct 2025

Went to visit my mother and was very happy with what I found, my mother was looking well and happy. She eats well and the nurses seem to be genuinely fond of her. She seems to be very content. Her room was very comfortable and homely. I believe my mother is in the best place.

Brother of Resident – Oct 2025

We are very impressed with the level of care shown for my sister. the staff are extremely helpful and concerns we raise have been politely and helpfully addressed. she has received exceptionally considerate service because of her complex needs and staff have been willing to accommodate her in a way that keeps her restful and happy.

***** The 5 stars I have given doesn’t indicate that everything is perfect at St Joseph’s but when any concerns are mentioned staff are willing to deal with them and generally communication is good.
My mother is well cared for and as happy as she is going to be away from her own home. Our ability to visit

her is unrestricted and we are free to take her out for a drive, etc.
Interaction with all the staff is excellent from my point of view, despite an occasional lapse in some information being fully shared.
I am pleased with her general physical care and happy with the food she is given. It would be better if she was able to have her hair well washed and set once a week, rather than fortnightly.
I would like to thank everyone who is involved in my mother’s care.

Mum is looked after with genuine care and consideration for her needs, and is able to enjoy moments of happiness during her slow inevitable decline as dementia progresses. Staff know her, and us as family.

Daughter-in-law of Resident – Feb 2025

When my mother-in-law arrived at St Joseph’s, she was very unwell, frightened, lonely and totally shut down. It has been a privilege to see her change to a happy, contented, engaged and relaxed lady.
Thank you to all the staff, that have made this possible; you are all amazing!

Staff seem welcoming and empathetic. They seem to form relationships with residents similar to a friendship, getting to know their likes, dislikes, interests and hobbies. Staff always make time to answer questions and settle concerns.
