Review from Daughter of Resident – January 2020
I would definitely recommend St Joseph’s Nursing Home, they have been my mothers care providers for nearly 2 years now. The care she receives is excellent, and the staff are very helpful and compassionate to her needs. The residents all look settled and happy, and the home is very clean. The staff are also very helpful and informative. I am grateful to St Joesph’s for all the care they giving.

Very happy with quality of service. My Mum is treated with dignity and has all her needs met. We are kept advised at all times. The staff and management are a credit to the company.

My husband had a tumour on his pelvis and was on palliative care. From the moment he was in there, until he died 6 weeks later, the care was excellent, and was out of pain, he was always clean and shaved and well-fed. It was a shame he could not appreciate it.

Review from Daughter of Resident – October 2019

We were relieved when mum arrived at St Joseph’s Nursing Home from a residential home. The deputy manager had traveled with me to Surrey during her annual leave to assess mum so that a plan of care could be made. On the day of admission, mum received a wonderful welcome, and every attempt was made to make her feel at home. Mum was always clean and made comfortable, able to rest in bed when she needed to. Unfortunately, after just a few days there, mum had a major stroke. The nurses and carers were able to provide appropriate care so, mum did not spend her last days in a hospital. Something she would have hated. Mum died peacefully at St Joseph’s a couple of days later. Mum was kept comfortable and clean at all times. I am a health care professional myself, and I could not fault the staff. The nurses and carers were excellent, very professional, very supportive, nothing was too much, and they all provided outstanding nursing care. We feel very blessed to have found St Joseph’s Nursing Home.

Review from Wife of Resident – July 2019

My husband receives excellent care from carers and nurses. My husband can be very difficult at times but always seems pleased to see carers. I can go in there any time of day and the home is always clean. My husband has been in there 3 years now. The carers and nurses help me when I am feeling low.

You looked after my Uncle for over two years at St Joseph’s Danbury. I could not praise the care and attention more should anyone else be considering St Joseph’s for family members. The staff made it all so perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the food always looked varied, fresh and homemade. There was always enough staff about (if needed) and the staff are the credit to your company.
Well done to all from the top to the foot workers and voluntary workers – even the onsite handy man was cheery, happy and lovely!
